Baumhaus and Little Monkey are excited to collaborate with the Asia Society Hong Kong (ASHK) to provide a DAY OF THE ARTS for children 3-8 years old on August 15th, 2-5:30pm.
This is a non-profit event featuring activities from different arts providers for children– Storytelling by the Elephant Community Press, Creative Movement by Dance for Joy, Visual Art station by Fairchild, and Kindermusik by Baumhaus, our aim is to bring the integration of the arts as a means for expression and skills-building among children.
By making the Arts accessible, we aim to show that the Arts is not only something we view in theatres or museums– but rather something our families can experience in our daily lives and interactions in the community.
Located in the various spaces in the Asia Society Hong Kong centre (see their pictures below), families will have a chance to make use of this beautiful community and arts space in the heart of Admiralty.
This event is for children 3-8 years old, though siblings 2 and below will be welcomed in a mini- free play set up by Happy Baton & Baumhaus in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Hall.
A small donation secures your spot, and these proceeds will go to Pathfinders HK.
How does it work?
Families choose one of two sessions:
- Session A 2:00-3:30pm
- Session B 4:00-5:30pm.
Within the session, they are welcome to join the different activities in the grounds of the Asia Society HK. The Miller Theatre will house the Storytelling activities, the LQW Room will have the movement, and the Hong Kong Jockey Club Hall will have the Visual Arts, Kindermusik, and even the free-play area space for our younger guests. Participants may sign up to as many activities as they want to, when they register on the day.
