We love Kadoorie Farm!! It is great for seeing wildlife, hiking, and seeing the pigs. The only thing I recommend is a baby carrier instead of a stroller as it is not that stroller friendly. They have places to sit and lots of shade.

We absolutely love this place! We got to see a lot of rare animals we normally don’t get to see up close such as owls, deers, kites and deers. The staff are nice and helpful. We love how they have activities in the art house for children (activity times may vary depending on the day), we can tell they treat the animals well with respect and it’s a great place for everyone to get in touch with nature and learn about different types of plants, ferns, fruits and trees.
This place is huge so it’s a bit confusing at first, but we came on a weekday so the arrangement of their shuttle bus was different from the normal weekend schedules, which is great because on weekdays the bus takes its passengers on a tour around the entire mountain with 10 minute stops in between. Although 10 minutes is a bit rushed, it’s great for us with a preschooler and a baby because we needed something to take us around the mountains without hiking up. (It’s a huge mountain!)
Keep in mind that this place involves a LOT of walking, so best to bring a baby carrier with you with bottled water, and enough snacks for your children as they might get tired from all the walking.
They have a cafe at the entrance which serves simple vegetarian food such as sandwiches and a few pasta dishes. Toilet facilities are okay but we noticed they don’t have any changing tables for babies.
All in all, a great place for families and people who love nature.
